Viewing student results

Use the View Student Results window to view assessment results for an individual student.

Note:
The content you can see will depend on your privileges. For example, the head of house, coordinator or authorised staff member may be able to view the results for all classes for a selected student.

  

 Opening the View Student Results window

To open the View Student Results window:

  1. Open Curriculum > View Student Results.
    The Students Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for the student whose results you wish to view. See Searching for students.
    The View Student Results window is displayed.


Students area key fields

Field

Description

Name

Select the student whose results you wish to view.

Launch the Students Search Criteria window. See Searching for students.

Classes area key fields

File Type

Select the type of class that you wish to view from the drop-down list.

Expand the entry for the class to show assessment items for the subject.

Launch the View Student Results Filter Criteria window.

Enter the criteria that you want to filter the results by and click.


Classes grid area fields

Field

Type

File type of the class. This is either:

  • A (academic class)
  • one of several codes used at your organisation for co-curricular classes.

Class

Unique code for the class that the student is taking.

Description

Description of the class that the student is taking.

Staff

Staff member who usually takes the class.

Overall 1 /Overall 2

Calculated (special) fields that show the result of the assessment areas that are designated as:
Overall Seq is equal to 1 on the assessment area
Overall Seq is equal to 2 on the assessment area, respectively.

Overall Comment

Overall assessment comment entered against the student's class.

Click the launch link Edit for a particular class or assessment to edit the overall comment for the class or assessment. See Entering and changing comments.

Click Update to save the comment or Cancel to cancel changes.
