Results Maintenance - Utilities window

Use the Utilities window to apply defaults to students and classes.

Opening the Utilities window

To open the Utilities window:

Select Curriculum > Results Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Results Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the class. See Searching for student results.
The class grid is displayed.
Click the launch link of the class you want to manage results for.
The Single window of Results Maintenance is displayed.
Click .
The Utilities window of Results Maintenance is displayed.

Results Maintenance - Utilities window key fields and buttons
Fields

Field	Description
Apply default result to current student only	Apply the default result for this result type to the current student. Note: The default result is maintained in Synergetic. See luReportResultType lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
Apply default result classification to current student only	Apply the default result classification for this subject to the current student. Note: The default result classification is maintained in Synergetic. See Subject Assessment Maintenance - Area tab - Area sub-tab in the Synergetic Assessment and reports manual.
Apply default print flag to current student only	Apply the default print flags for this class to the current student. Note: The default print flags are maintained in Synergetic See Class Maintenance - Print Flags tab and Subject Assessment Area - Summary tab - Summary sub-tab in the Synergetic Assessment and reports manual.
Apply default result to all class	Apply the default result for this result type to the whole class. Note: The default result is maintained in Synergetic. See luReportResultType lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
Apply default result classification to all class	Apply the default result classification for this subject to the whole class. Note: The default result classification is maintained in Synergetic. See Subject Assessment Maintenance - Area tab - Area sub-tab in the Synergetic Assessment and reports manual.
Apply default print flag to all class	Apply the default print flags for this class to the whole class. Note: The default print flags are maintained in Synergetic See Class Maintenance - Print Flags tab tab and Subject Assessment Area - Summary tab - Summary sub-tab in the Synergetic Assessment and reports manual.

Buttons

	Apply the default to the selected student or class.

Common buttons

Button	Description
	View and maintain: results for individual students topic comments overall comments. See Results Maintenance - Single window.
	View and maintain results for all students in the class. See Results Maintenance - Class (legacy) window.
	View and maintain results for all students in the class simultaneously with other staff members. See Results Maintenance - Class window.
	View or modify results for any student belonging to the assessment code of the class you are currently processing, if you have security access. See Results Maintenance - Assessment (legacy) window.
	View or modify results for any student belonging to the assessment code of the class you are currently processing, if you have security access. See Results Maintenance - Assessment window.
	Maintain the mark book assessment results for all students in the class. See Results Maintenance - Mark Book window.
	Maintain the parent teacher interview request statuses for all students in the class. See Results Maintenance - PTI window.
	Show results for other classes the student is taking. See Results Maintenance - History window.
	Maintain defaults applied to individual students and classes. See Results Maintenance - Utilities window.
	Add or remove fields from display on results pages. See Using the Results Maintenance filter.
	Display the Results Maintenance Search window to select a different class.
