Bulk Set NCEA Standards window

New Zealand organisations can use the Bulk Set NCEA Standards window to bulk update attributes of NCEA standards against selected students / classes. For a selected standard, you can update details for:

all classes
a selected class
individual students.

Note: You can only update fields supported by the selected standard.

Opening the Bulk Set NCEA Standards window

To open the Bulk Set NCEA Standards window:

Select Module > Assessments > Bulk Set NCEA Standards from the Main menu.
The Bulk Set NCEA Standards window is displayed.

Filter area fields and buttons

Fields

Field	Description
Year	Filter the list of standards by file year.
Search	Search the list of standards displayed in the grid area.
Assessment Option	Filter the list of standards based on whether the standard is internally or externally assessed.
Assessment Request Indicator	Filter the list of standards based on whether a digital exam or digital submission is available for the selected standard.
Digital Practice Exam Available	Filter the list of standards based on whether a digital practice exam is available for the standard.
Te Reo Paper Available	Filter the list of standards based on whether a Māori examination paper is available for the standard.
Te Reo Answer Available	Filter the list of standards based on whether Māori language examination answers are available.
Bulk Settable Only	Select this field to only display standards with options that can be bulk set.
Show Classes and Students	Select to display details about the classes and students using the selected standard. See: Classes Using Selected Standard grid area fields and buttons (see below) Students Enrolled in Selected Standard grid area fields and buttons (see below).

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Standard Number	Standard number allocated by the NZQA.
Version	Version number of the standard.
Title	Title of the standard.
Assessment Opportunities	Number of opportunities students are given to complete the standard.
Class Count	Number of classes completing the standard.
Student Count	Number of students completing the standard.

Classes Using Selected Standard grid area fields and buttons

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Class Code	Class code for the selected class.
Description	Description of the selected class.
Staff	Staff code for the staff member teaching the class.

	Launch Class Maintenance for the selected class. See Maintaining classes.
	Launch the Bulk Set Standard Details window to update the details of the selected NCEA standard for the selected class only. See Setting details for NCEA standards in bulk for selected classes.

Only Students Enrolled in Selected Standard

Select this field to only display students in the class selected in the Classes Using Selected Standard grid area.

Tip: You can update fields supported by the selected standard.

Field	Description
Name	Name of the student including the student's: given names surname preferred name campus/year level combination form.
Assessment Opportunity	Assessment opportunity chosen by the student for the selected standard.
Assessment Request
Digital Practice Exam	Whether the student has requested a digital practice exam.
Te Reo Paper	Whether the student has requested a Māori examination paper.
Te Reo Answer	Whether the student has requested Māori language examination answers.
ID	Community ID of the student.
