Processing Portal details updated Action Centre messages

You can process Portal details updated Action Centre messages to import changes from the My Details tab of the Community Portal.

Note: Students can have records in Future Student Maintenance and Current Student Maintenance. Processing this Action Centre message updates both records.

To process a Portal details updated Action Centre message:

  1. Click .
    The Action Centre Summary window is displayed.


    Tip:
    You can also click a link in the Action Centre Summary window to launch a specific message, task or alert in the Action Centre.

  2. Click .
    The Description tab of the Action Centre window is displayed.
  3. Select the Portal details updated Action Centre message.
    The Portal details updated Action Centre message is displayed.
  4. Accept or reject the details. You can:

    • Select the Accept and Reject fields in the grid are to accept or reject individual changes
    • Click  or  to accept or reject all changes.

    Note: You can only accept or reject all changes for addresses entered using the Quick Address System (QAS). Individual address field changes are not permitted.

  5. Click .

    Note: Confirmation messages are displayed when applying change selections affects the emergency contact details recorded for the student. When changes selections are:

    Rejected 
    The following message is displayed.


    Accepted
    The following message is displayed.
     

    • Combination of Accepted and Rejected
    Both messages are displayed.
