Importing results from Microsoft Excel into a column

You can import a column of results from Microsoft Excel into the All Students tab.

Note:
You can only import one result column at a time.


To import results:

  1. Create a spreadsheet with the student Synergetic IDs as column A.
  2. Record the student marks in the spreadsheet.
  3. Highlight the cells you want to import from Microsoft Excel.


    Note: Do not highlight the column with the student numbers.
     
  4. Open the All Students tab of Student Results Maintenance for the selected class. See Student Results Maintenance - All Students tab (Standalone).
  5. Highlight the column of the assessment area you want to import into by clicking on the column heading.


    Tip: You can click anywhere in the column heading.
     
  6. Right click.
    The following menu is displayed.
  7. Select Import Results for Highlighted Column from Excel....
    The following window is displayed.
  8. Click .
    The results are imported.
