Creating payable excursions on the Community Portal
To create a payable excursion on the Community Portal:
- Create the excursion in Excursion Maintenance. See Creating new excursions in the SynWeb Current students manual.
- On the Details bar of Excursion Maintenance, ensure the following fields are populated:
• Event Date From and To
• Max Attendance
• Max Tickets per Attendee if you want to limit the number of tickets an individual guest can purchase.

• Show on Web Site field is selected
• Publish Date From and Publish Date To fields are populated
Note: These fields determine the period of time the event is displayed on the Community Portal.
• Payment Option drop-down list is populated with an excursion payment type.
See Excursion Maintenance - Web bar in the SynWeb Current students manual. - On the Attributes bar of Excursion Maintenance, add an attribute to the excursion for each type of ticket you want to see. For example, Adult, Student, Concession.

The excursion is displayed on the Excursions tab of the Community Portal to the community members you have invited, for the dates you have specified. .
