Maintaining the list of master attributes

The master attributes list contains all the attributes that you can select for any event. You can:

  • add new attributes, including ticket types, check boxes and free form text fields
  • delete obsolete attributes, provided you have not used them for an event
  • change the details of existing attributes.


 Opening the Event Master Attributes window

To open the Events Master Attributes window to maintain attributes that can be used for any future event:

  1. Open the Attributes tab of the Events Maintenance window. See Events Maintenance - Attributes tab.
  2. Click .
    The Event Master Attributes window is displayed.

Fields

Field

Description

Type

Select from:

  • Ticket to add a new type of ticket.
  • Checkbox to add a yes/no field as a check box. For example, to allow you to select whether or not disabled access is required.
  • Text to add a free form text field.

Sub Type

Category name for the ticket type. Only required for tickets.

Description

Description of the attribute.

Default Unit Price

You can define a default price that appears when you select the ticket for an event. You can override this when you create the event. Only for tickets.

Active

Select if you want to make the attribute available for future events.

Seq

Automatic sequence number for the attribute.

Description

Add a new ticket or other attribute to the list of master attributes.

Delete a ticket or attribute from the list of master attributes, provided the attribute has not been used for an event.

Move the selected attribute up the order to change the way the ticket types and other attributes appear on the Current Attendees tab, Tickets and Attributes sub-tabs.
