Using the centre splitter
Using the centre splitter
The centre splitter is the line between the primary contact and their spouse. You can move this left or right so that you can see more details of one of the contacts.
This can be used on any of the Development Maintenance tabs where the contact and their spouse are displayed together. For example, the Constituencies or Giving Summary tabs.
Either:
- use the centre splitter to view more information about the primary contact or their spouse
- return the centre splitter to the middle of the tab.
You can also use the centre splitter when Maintaining general ledger finance reports in the Finance manual.
Dragging the centre splitter
To enlarge the area for displaying the details of either the primary contact or their spouse:
- Position the cursor over the centre splitter area.
The cursor changes shape to a double-headed arrow when it is active. - Drag the centre splitter to the left or right, as required.
More information is displayed for the selected contact.
Returning the centre splitter to the middle
To return the centre splitter back to the middle, drag the centre splitter back to the required position.
