Using the Subject Assessment Other Definition Maintenance window
Use the Subject Assessment Other Definition Maintenance window to:
- Load pre-defined curriculum definitions for the following Victorian school frameworks:
- Religious EducatIon (RE)
- Religious Education Renewed (REN)
- Religious Education (RESALE)
- Victorian Curriculum
- Victorian Curriculum F-10 English as an Additional Language (EALVC).
See Loading pre-defined curriculum frameworks. - Copy curriculum definitions from one year to another. See Copying existing curriculum frameworks to new years.
- Add curriculum definitions as needed.
The Subject Assessment Other Definition Maintenance window is structured into frameworks and three levels.

Curriculum Framework grid area fields and buttons

Curriculum Code | Unique code used within Synergetic for the framework. |
Description | Framework name. |
Level 1 Name | Name used for the curriculum area group at your organisation. Previously displayed as Strands grid area. |
Level 2 Name | Name used for the curriculum area at your organisation. Previously displayed as Domains grid area. |
Level 3 Name | Name used for the strand or mode at your organisation. Previously displayed as Dimensions grid area. |

Delete the selected framework and all its three levels of definitions. Note: This will also remove any links to subject assessment areas, which will need re-linking to the new curriculum entries after adding/loading frameworks. |

Summarise | Used to indicate that the results are to be summarised at the level 2 curriculum area rather than broken down to each level 3 entry (strand or mode). |
Australian Curric | Currently only used for Crystal Reports. Originally used for VELS which was superseded by AusVELS and then Victorian Curriculum F-10. |
