Creating line items in purchase orders

To create a line item in a purchase order:

  1. Open Purchase Orders Maintenance and create or search for the purchase order you want to add a line item to. See Searching for purchase orders and Creating new purchase orders.
    The General Details, Options & Creditor tab is displayed for the purchase order.
  2. Click the Line Items tab.
    The Line Items tab is displayed.
  3. Click .
    The Line Item Editor area is expanded.
  4. Enter information about the items you want to order in the purchase order.
  5. Click .
    The line item you created is displayed in the grid.
  6. To add another item, repeat steps 3 to 5.
