Creating new purchase orders
You can create new purchase orders in SynWeb.
To create a purchase order:
- Select Finance > Purchase Orders from the SynWeb main menu.
The Search Purchase Orders window is displayed. - Click
The New Purchase Order - Creditor window is displayed. . - Enter the search criteria for the creditor.
- Click .
- Navigate to the required creditor in the grid.
- Click
The New Purchase Order - Purchase Order Details window is displayed. . - Select an option for each of the following fields:
• Business Unit
• Order Type
• Order Date
• G/L Sub Allocation. - If required, type in the Requisition Number, Delivery Point and Required Date.
- Click
The New Purchase Order - Order header and Trailer window is displayed. . - Type in the Header and Trailer if required.
- Click
The purchase order is created and displayed in the Purchase Order tab of Purchase Orders Maintenance. See Purchase Orders Maintenance - General Details, Options & Creditor tab. .
