Testing credit card processing
You can process credit cards on the Community Portal to determine whether NAB Transact is configured correctly.
Note: You will be unable to make any payments, view any events or enter credit card details when NAB Transact is set up incorrectly. See Setting up NAB Transact as an online payment merchant.
To test credit card processing:
- Open an internet browser.
- Log into the Community Portal.
- Click the Manage Stored Cards tab.
Tip: You can also access the Manage Stored Cards tab by clicking on the Payment Plans tab.
Note: You can enable the Manage Stored Cards tab using the Main Menu Configuration Tool window. See Enabling online payment tabs on the Community Portal. - Click
The Credit Card area is displayed. . - Select a credit card under Card Type.
- Type a test number into Credit card number field.
• Visa: 4111 1111 1111 1111
• Mastercard: 5555 5555 5555 4444
• American Express: 3434 3434 343 434. - Click .
- Click
Card details are successfully saved when the following confirmation is displayed: . - Repeat steps 5 through 9 for each additional card type used at your organisation.
Testing credit card processing is complete.
