luPayrollTaxationRate lookup table

Description

The luPayrollTaxationRate lookup table is used to maintain the taxation rate categories for payroll purposes. This lookup table is used to populate tax scales in the following locations:

Tax Rates tab of the Payroll Configuration window. See Payroll Configuration - Tax Rates tab.
Tax Scale field on the:

- Tax tab of Payroll Maintenance. See Payroll Maintenance - Tax tab.
- Tax Scale field on the Declarations tab of Payroll Maintenance. See Payroll Maintenance - Declarations tab.

Fields

Field	Description
Code	Code that represents the tax scale.
Description	Description of the tax scale.
RebateCode	Code that indicates rebate type, if there is a rebate.
HECSCode	Whether there is a tax free threshold for HECS repayments.
TaxOfficeCode	Code used by the tax office for this tax scale.
CategoryCode	Tax category of the tax scale. This represents the tax table or schedule of withholding rates (e.g. Regular). This field can have a value of either: R - Regular A - Actors C - Horticulturists and Shearers S - Seniors and Pensioners H - Working Holiday Makers W - Seasonal Worker Programme F - Foreign Resident N - No TFN D - ATO-Defined V - Voluntary Agreement. Note: This is the first character of the tax scale code. See the Code and TaxOfficeCode fields (above).
OptionCode	Category-specific option of the tax scale. For example, tax scales with the A - Actors tax category can select the option D - 3 or less performances per week.
LoanCode	Whether the tax scale has a higher rate of withholding for the repayment of Study Training Support Loans. This field can have a value of either: S - Has STSL X - No STSL.
LevyExemptionCode	Whether the tax scale has a full or half exemption from the Medicare Levy. This field has a value of either: F - Full Exemption H - Half Exemption X - No Exemption.
SortOrder	Order that the tax scale appears in drop-down lists.
LegacyTaxScale	Legacy (STP1) tax scale used for the selected tax scale. Tip: You can use this field to check how the tax scales introduced with Single Touch Payroll 2 (STP2) relate to the old tax scales.
LegacyTaxHELPFlag	Whether the legacy (STP1) tax scale included HELP repayments.
LegacyTaxScaleIncHELP	Legacy (STP1) tax scale including the HELP repayment code.
ActiveFlag	Whether the selected tax scale is active at your organisation. Note: You can use this field to disable old (STP1) tax scales.
ModifiedDate	Date and time the lookup table entry was last modified.
ModifiedUser	User that last modified the lookup table entry.
