Editing professional development applications
To edit a professional development application:
- Select Human Resources > Staff Kiosk from the SynWeb main menu.
The Personal tab of the My Details window is displayed. - Click .
The My Professional Development window is displayed. - Select the professional development application you want to edit.
Note: You can view the details of any professional development course in the grid, but you cannot edit courses with a status of Approved, Completed or Rejected.
- Click .
The course details are displayed in the Professional Development Details window. - Edit the details as required.
- Click .
The changes are saved.
Professional Development Details window key fields and buttons

Status | Status of the application Note: This field is not editable. |
Application Date | Date the application was created. |
Start Date | Date the course starts. |
Finish Date | Date the course finishes. |
Category | Category of the professional development. |
Accred Hrs | Hours accrued on the course. |
Provider | Organisation offering the course. |
Training Reason | Reason for the training. |
Training Standard | Level of training the course provides. |
Venue | Location of the course. |
Presenter | Name of the person presenting the course. |
Course Details | Brief summary of the course aims or content. |
Registration | Cost of registration for the course. |
Travel | Cost of travel to the course. |
Replacement | Cost of staff replacement during staff member's absence. |
Outcome | Outcome of course. |
Comment | Comment about the course. |
