Searching for subject assessments

When you first start Subject Assessment Area Maintenance, the Set Subject Assessment Area Search Criteria window is displayed. You can search for existing subject assessments or add a new subject assessment from this window.

To search for a subject assessment:

  1. Select Curriculum > Assessment Area Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Set Subject Assessment Area Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Type and select your search criteria in the fields.
  3. Click .

    Note:
    At any stage you can change your selections. To do this, click
    and then make your new selections.

    Tip:
    Fields that have a drop-down list to choose from, such as Campus, are case sensitive and depend on how they have been set up in the database lookup tables. We recommend that you always select these fields from the drop-down list.

    The first search result is displayed. 
  4. Click on the subject assessment links on the left to navigate to other subject assessments.
  5. View the subject assessment area details. See Maintaining subject assessments.

Search for subject assessments for a particular year or semester.

Search for subject assessments for a particular campus.

Assessment Code

Search for subject assessments by their assessment code.

Search for a subject assessment based on the search criteria you have entered.

Clear the search criteria and start a new search.

Launch the Create New Subject Assessment window to add a new subject assessment to the database. See Creating new subject assessments.
