Description
The RequireAuthentication configuration setting determines whether the portal provides authentication data to the email server.
Default value
The default value is False.
Setting a different value
Select the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window if the email server requires authentication. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
You also need to update the following registry settings in the IIS server registry:
- email password
- email server name
- email server port
- email user name.
