Adding documents to the custom help
Custom help can be added in two ways:
- shared custom help, which is added to the file server and available to everyone
- private custom help, which is only available when you are logged in to your local machine.
Adding documents to shared custom help

To add a new document to the shared custom help:
- Open Windows Explorer on the file server.
- Navigate to the folder specified in the CustomHelpFileList configuration setting.
- Navigate to the folder that corresponds to the menu item where you want the document to display.
- Add the document.
Note: You must refresh the custom help to see any changes in Synergetic. Select Help > Refresh Custom Help from the Synergetic main menu.
