Automatically send incident report via email to parents upon Sign Out

Medical Maintenance

  • A system administrator can enable a feature to automatically email an incident report to a student's contacts when signing a student out of a medical incident.

  • The system administrator can configure a single email template and assign it to this feature by assigning a Document Classification with the correct Synergy Meaning.

  • When a user signs a student out of sickbay, the system informs the user that the report will be sent, and to whom it will be sent. The user can opt out of sending the incident report if necessary. The email will be sent from the signed-in user's email address.

  • If the email cannot be sent, an action centre message is generated
The feature will only be active if the person involved in the incident is a Student.

To activate this feature, see Medical Maintenance Automated Incident Report on Signout: A Step-by-Step Guide
