Description
The OfflineMessage configuration setting determines the message displayed when:
- Community Portal is placed into maintenance mode using the MaintenanceModeOverride configuration setting. See MaintenanceModeOverride configuration setting.
- your organisation has entered a shutdown period defined in the System Message and Shutdown Maintenance window. See Maintaining system messages in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
The message defined by this setting is displayed on the Login page of the Community Portal.
Default value
The default value is Currently this website is in maintenance mode until [e:date] at [e:time].
Setting a different value
Type the offline message you want to appear into the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
You can add date values based on the shutdown start and end times in the System Message and Shutdown Maintenance window.
For example, if the shutdown is occurs on the 11/08/2011 from 11:45 AM to 3:45 PM then the following text values will be replaced as below:
