Events Maintenance - Location tab

Use the Location tab to view and maintain details about event locations including:

location
contact
address
phone number.

Once you have selected an excursion location you can use the Show in Community Portal Approval Process area fields to determine the information displayed to users on the Events tab of the Community Portal.

Opening the Location tab

To open the Location tab:

Select Module > Development > Events Maintenance from the main menu.
Tip: You can also access the development functions by clicking .
The Set Events Search Criteria window is displayed.
Select the event. See Searching for events.
The Event tab of the Events Maintenance window is displayed.
Click the Location tab.
The Location tab of the Events Maintenance window is displayed.

Fields

Field	Description
Location Code	Location code for the event Tip: You can right-click this field to edit, add, refresh and search entries of the luLocation lookup table. Note: You can also use the luLocation lookup table to maintain event locations. See luLocation lookup table. Note: You can click on the Events tab of the Community portal to view the event Location field listing the location details for the event. This field is not displayed if there is no location selected in the Location Code field.
Contact	Person who is the key contact at the venue.
Location	Location of the event. Note: This field and the following seven read-only fields are filled when the location code is selected.
Address 1	Address line 1 of the excursion location.
Address 2	Address line 2 of the excursion location.
Address 3	Address line 3 of the excursion location.
Suburb	Suburb of the excursion location.
State	State of the excursion location.
Postcode	Postcode of the excursion location.
Phone	Phone number of the excursion location.

Note: You can define the location HTML using the LocationHTML field of the luLocation lookup table. See luLocation lookup table.

Show in Community Portal Approval Process area fields

Note: You can click on the Events tab of the Community portal to view the event Location field listing the selections in this area. If none of these fields are selected, the Location field is not displayed on the Events tab of the Community portal.

Field	Description
Location HTML	Whether the location HTML defined using the LocationHTML field of the luLocation lookup table is displayed for users in the Community Portal. See luLocation lookup table.
Address	Whether the location address is displayed for users in the Community Portal.
Location Description	Whether the location description is displayed for users in the Community Portal.
