Configuring VSN/VSR services

Victorian organisations are required to implement Victorian Student Number (VSN) for their students. This functionality impacts multiple areas of the Synergetic system including:
- configuration keys
- Synergetic service
- database tables, stored procedures and triggers.
Once VSN is configured for your organisation, you can maintain VSNs for students using the Government Student Number field on the:
- Create new student window . See Creating new students.
- Codes tab of Current Student Maintenance. See Current Student Maintenance - Codes tab.
Important: You must complete the steps in this section with a member of the Synergetic Systems Team. See Contact Synergetic Management Systems.
