Maintenance Tasks window

Use the Maintenance Tasks window to create and track maintenance tasks relating to objects. For example, to track software upgrades for staff laptops or maintenance to air conditioning systems.

 Opening the Maintenance Tasks window

To open the Object Maintenance Tasks window:

  1. Select Objects > Maintenance Tasks from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Object Maintenance Tasks window is displayed.


Maintenance Tasks window key fields and buttons

Status

Select to filter the grid to show only tasks of this status.

Search

Select to filter the grid to show only tasks that match the search.

Include closed tasks

Select to include closed tasks in the grid.

Grid area fields

Task Number

Unique identifier for the task.

Opened

Date the task was created.

Initiated by

Community member that initiated the task.

Level

Priority of the task.

Severity

Urgency of the task.

Note: These options are populated by the luObjectTaskSeverity lookup table. See Maintaining lookup tables in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

Status

Status of the task.

Note: These options are populated by the luObjectTaskStatus lookup table. See Maintaining lookup tables in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

Subject

Brief description or title of the task.

Description

Detailed description of the task.

Object

Object the task relates to.

Allocated To

Staff member the task has been allocated to.

Closed On

Date the task was marked as closed.
