To open the Disability bar:

  1. Select Students > Student Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Set Current Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for the student. See Searching for students (on page ).
    The first student's record is displayed on the Current Student Maintenance window. One bar is expanded depending on your last session or earlier selection.
  3. Click the Disability bar.
    The Disability bar of the Current Student Maintenance window is displayed.

Fields

Field

Description

Category

Category of disability. For example, Social/Emotional. See luDisabilityCategory lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

Adjustment Level

Adjustment level required to accommodate the disability. See luDisabilityAdjustmentLevel lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

Include in Export

Select to include the disability in the Student Disability Adjustment Crystal Report.
 

Note: You can only include one disability in the export. It is recommended that you select the most severe disability.

Identified Needs

Description of needs that must be met to accommodate the disability.

Adjustments Made

Details of adjustments made to accommodate the disability.

Start Date

Start date of the disability.

End Date

End date of the disability.

Review Date

Review date of the disability.

Search Filter

The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Student Selector. This field can be used to filter students by any of the information displayed in the Student Selector.
For example to filter students by name simply type either the student's:

  • last name
  • first name
  • last name then first name separated by a comma.
    To filter students by year level simply type the student's year level in the Search Filter field.
