This section outlines changes to the Roll returns manual arising from changes made to Synergetic (versions 69.42+).
Note: The look and feel of Synergetic depends on the PC it is running on. You may notice a slight difference in appearance between this manual and Synergetic running at your organisation but the functionality is exactly the same.

Roll count dates have been set for 2020.

Roll count dates have been set to:

  • 2nd March 2020
  • 1st July 2020.

State and State integrated schools (excluding partnership schools) with students in Year 9 and above have additional roll count dates set to:

  • 2nd June 2020
  • 1st September 2020.

The following Funding Year Level rule has been added:

  • "Contributing (1-6) schools must reset the Funding Year Level of ORS students to YEAR 8, in order for these students to count towards their funding calculations."

The following Secondary Tertiary Programme provider names have been updated:

  • Ara Trades Academy renamed Ara Trades Academy (Ara Institute of Canterbury)
  • Otago Secondary-Tertiary College (Otago) renamed Otago-Secondary-Tertiary College (Otago Polytechnic)
  • Manurewa High School Trades Academy renamed Manurewa High School Trades Academy (Manurewa High School)
  • Te Taitokerau Trades Academy (Tikipunga High) renamed Te Taitokerau Trades Academy (Tikipunga High School)
  • Taumarunui High School Trades Academy renamed Taumarunui High School Trades Academy (Taumarunui High School).
