Payroll Maintenance - Pay Events tab

Use the Pay Events tab to view historical changes in pay that have occurred.

Important

Pay events have been deprecated and are no longer functional. The content displayed on this tab is for historical auditing purposes only.



 Opening the Pay Events tab

To open the Pay Events tab:

  1. Select Payroll > Payroll Employee Maintenance from the main menu.
    The Set Payroll Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for the employee payroll record for the staff member. See Searching for payroll employees.
    The Personal tab of the Payroll Maintenance window is displayed.
  3. Click the Pay Events tab.
    The Pay Events tab of the Payroll Maintenance window is displayed.

Fields

Field

Description

All Events

Display all pay events in the Pay Events grid.

Current Events

Display only unprocessed pay events in the Pay Events grid.

Processed Events

Display only processed events in the Pay Events grid.

Grid area fields

Processed

If selected, this pay event has been processed.
Note: Entries that have been processed are not editable.

System

If selected, this pay event was generated by Synergetic. If cleared, this event is:

  • a template
  • a pay event created from a pay event template.

Note: Entries from Synergetic are not editable.

Pay Code

The pay code of the pay that was changed.

Description

The description of the pay code.

GL Code

The general ledger code that the pay code is linked to.

Posting

The posting number where the pay event was processed.

Rate

The pay rate of the pay event.

Factor

The pay factor of the pay event.

Amount

The pay amount of the pay event.

Effective

The date the pay event came into effect.

Units

The number of units worked in a typical pay period, where applicable.

Current Pay Rate

The pay rate of the selected pay.

Current Pay Factor

The pay factor of the selected pay.

Current Pay Amount

The pay amount of the selected pay.
