LateAndNotPresentWriteLateTypeFlag

Description
The LateAndNotPresentWriteLateTypeFlag setting is used to determine whether a late arrival entered on the Attendance window creates an absence event with either a late or unknown absence type.
See:

Default value
The default value is True. An absence event is created with a late absence type.
In the following example, a student has arrived at 9:40am for their 9:30am class.

When the class attendance is submitted, an absence event is created with an absence type of late.

Setting a different value
Clear the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to False. See Maintaining configuration files.

A late arrival entered on the Attendance window creates an absence event with an absence type of unknown.
