Use the Risks bar to view and maintain:
- risks associated with excursions
- magnitude of danger associated with these risks
- risk management procedures.
To open the Risks bar:
- Select Students > Excursion Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Excursion Search Criteria window is displayed. - Search for excursions. See Searching for excursions (on page ).
- Click the Risks bar.
Tip: You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

Grid area fields
Field | Description |

Risk Type | Type of risk associated with the excursion. See the luRiskType lookup table in the System maintenance manual. |
Risk Description | Description of the risk. |
Initial Risk Level | Impact and likelihood of the risk without any risk management procedures in place. |
Mitigated Risk Level | Impact and likelihood of the risk after risk management procedures have been applied. |
Sort Order | Order that the risks appear in drop-down lists. Use the arrows to move risks up and down. |
Buttons
Button | Description |

Launch the Select Risks to Add window to create a new excursion risk. See Creating excursion risks (on page ). | |
Edit the risk using the Add/Edit Event Risk window. | |
Delete the risk from the event. |
Common fields

Search Filter | The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Excursion Selector. This field can be used to filter excursions by any of the information displayed in the Excursion Selector. |
