Description

Use the SchoolNumber configuration setting to define the value of the School Number field when using the MOE tab of the Import/Export Student Data window to submit:

  • NZMOE Attendance Survey
  • Roll Returns.

See Import_Export Student Data - MOE tab.

This configuration setting is mandatory and can be configured for:

  • Schools with a single school number by leaving the Key 4 value blank
  • Schools with multiple school numbers for different campuses by populating the Key 4 value with the campus code (K, J, M, S).

Note: New schools can create the required number of SchoolNumber configuration settings by clicking  on Configuration File Maintenance window and populating the values as shown above and in the examples below. See Configuration File Maintenance window.

Important: Campus-specific SchoolNumber configuration settings are excluded from the attendance survey when the Value field is blank.

Once the SchoolNumber configuration settings are configured, the School Number field on the MOE tab of the Import/Export Student Data window will populate based on the campus selected in the Campus drop-down list.

See Import_Export Student Data - MOE tab.
