Medical Maintenance - Medical Condition tab - Allergy sub-tab

Use the Allergy sub-tab to maintain information about allergies suffered by students including:

  • allergy type
  • severity of the allergy
  • treatment of the allergy.

 

 Opening the Allergy sub-tab

To open the Allergy sub-tab:

  1. Open the Medical tab from one of the following maintenance windows:
    • Current Student Maintenance. See Current Student Maintenance - Medical tab in the Current students manual.
    • Future Student Maintenance. See Future Student Maintenance - Medical tab in the Future students manual.
    • Past Student Maintenance. See Past Student Maintenance - Medical tab in the Past students manual.
    • Staff Maintenance. See Staff Maintenance - Medical tab in the Human resources manual.
  2. Click  .
    The Summary tab of the Medical Maintenance window is displayed.
  3. Click the Medical Condition tab.
    The Condition sub-tab of the Medical Condition tab is displayed.
  4. Click the Allergy sub-tab.
    The Allergy sub-tab of the Medical Condition tab of the Medical Maintenance window is displayed.

Fields

Field

Description

Active

Whether the allergy is currently active.

Medical Allergy

Type of allergy. See the luMedicalAllergyType lookup table in the System maintenance manual.

Severity

Severity of the allergy. See the luMedicalConditionSeverity lookup table in the System maintenance manual.

Description

Description of the allergy.

Treatment

Treatment of the allergy.

Modified By

Community member that last modified the selected allergy record.

Modified Date

Date the selected allergy record was last modified.

Allergy Seq

Unique identifying number for the allergy.

Buttons

Description

Add a new allergy record.
You can:

  • Add a new allergy record. See Adding new allergies (on page ).


    Note: You can also add allergy records using the Allergy tab. See Medical Maintenance - Allergy tab (on page ).

    Tip: When you add a new allergy record it is simultaneously created on the Allergy tab.
  • Link to an existing allergy record. See Linking to existing allergies (on page ).

Delete the selected allergy record.

Filters area fields

Active only

Select to only display medical conditions that are currently active.
