Use the Other tab to:
- record whether your organisation has checked the staff member's references
- record whether the staff member has had a police check
- record any details of a probationary period
- record the staff member's driver's license details
- view the staff member's network login
- barcode used for programs using barcoding devices, such as point of sale terminals
- record whether the staff member is authorised for purchase of sale items.
Opening the Other tab
To open the Other tab:
- Select Module > Human Resources > Staff Maintenance from the main menu.
Tip: You can also access the staff functions by clicking .
- Search for the staff member. See Searching for staff members (on page ).
The Personal tab of the Staff Maintenance window is displayed.
- Click the Other tab.

Select if the staff member has had a police check. If so, the date that it was checked. |
Reference Number |
Police check reference number. |

External Registration Number |
Used to store a registration number sourced from an external system. |
Network Login |
Staff member's login name for your organisation's network. |
Barcode |
Barcode assigned to the employee for the purchase of sale items. |
Authorised for G/L Purchase of Sale Items |
Select if the employee is authorised to purchase items from your shop. |
