Future students are displayed on the Future Student Statistics Report in two user-definable columns. These are either:

  • E1 and E2 - students are rolled up to the next year
  • E1N and E2N - students are included in the current display year but not rolled up to the next year.

Note: If a future student has an Enrol Date earlier than the Target Year of the report, then they are processed in all subsequent file years as if they were a current student in that year.
To be shown on the report, a future student must:

  • have a status that has E1, E2, E1N or E2N entered against it in the luFutureStatus lookup table
  • not already be a student
  • have an Enrol Date that is greater than or equal to the date the report is run for.

Note: More than one status can be assigned to the E1 or E2 columns. In this case, the numbers are summarised together in the report.
If the File Year is:

  • equal to the Target Year, then the year of the Enrol Date must be the same year
  • less than the Target Year, then the year of the Enrol Date must be less than or equal to the Target Year.

The headings for these columns that display on the report and the FutureStatus that they indicate are defined in the EnrolmentStatusColumn and the EnrolmentStatusColumn2 of the luFutureStatus lookup table. See luFutureStatus lookup table in the System maintenance manual.
