Linking assets when adding or updating assets

You can link assets when:

• adding new assets
• updating asset details, when modifying creditor invoices.

To link assets with others:

1. Update the way the asset type is linked. See Create New Asset - Asset Type window (on page ).

The Asset Search window is displayed.

1. Enter the information, you know about the asset you want to link to, in the Search Criteria area.

Tip: You can leave all these fields blank to display all assets.

1. Click .

The Asset Search window is redisplayed with assets that meet your search criteria.

1. Highlight the asset you want to link to.

1. Click to link the assets.

Tip: You can also link to an asset by double clicking on it.
