Business Management Software IDs (BMS IDs) are used to uniquely identify business management software applications to the Australian Taxation Office. When your organisation has updated its business management software and needs to amend a Single Touch Payroll submission from a prior year, the amended submission must include both the current and previous BMS IDs.

You can use the BMS ID tab to maintain a list of the Business Management System software IDs used by your organisation.

 Opening the BMS ID tab

To open the BMS ID tab:

  1. Select Module > Payroll > Payroll Configuration Maintenance from the main menu.
The General tab of the Payroll Configuration window is displayed.
  2. Click the BMS ID tab.
The BMS ID tab of the Payroll Configuration window is displayed.
