Use the Electives tab to view class and co-curricular electives for the selected student.

Note: This tab is populated when electives are selected on the Community Portal. See Customising co-curricular tab in the Community Portal configuration manual.

To open the Electives tab:

  1. Select Module > Students > Current Student Maintenance from the main menu.
    The Set Current Student Search Criteria window is displayed.
    Tip: You can also access the current student functions by clicking Image Removed Image Added .
  2. Search for the student. See Searching for existing students (on page ) in the Current students manual.
  3. Click the Electives tab.
    The Electives tab of the Current Student Maintenance window is displayed.

File Type

Elective file type. For example, academic or co-curricular.

File Year

Elective file year.

Unallocated Only

Select to display only unallocated electives.

Grid area fields

Code

Class code.

Class description.

Selected

Whether the elective has been selected. 

Preference

Preference recorded for the elective. 

Portal Date

Date the elective is displayed on the Community Portal.
