Community Maintenance - Phone bar key fields

Field

Description

Home Phone

Home telephone number.

Silent Phone

Select if the phone number is not to be listed or made available to staff members without appropriate permissions.

Note:
Make suitable arrangements for contacting the student's guardian in the event of an emergency.

Home Phone Alt

Second home phone number if applicable.

Mobile

Mobile telephone number.

Silent Mobile

Select if the mobile phone number is not to be listed or made available to staff members without appropriate permissions.

Make suitable arrangements for contacting the student's guardian in the event of an emergency.

Default Mobile Phone

Community member's preferred mobile phone. Available values are:

  • Personal
  • Occupation.

    Synergetic uses the community member's default mobile phone when sending SMS text messages from Synergetic to the person. When:
  • Personal is selected, the Mobile phone number recorded on this tab is used.
  • Occupation is selected, the Mobile phone number recorded on the Occupation tab is used.

Home Fax

Home fax number, if applicable.

Home Email

Home email address, if applicable.

Default Email

Select the default email address. Values include:

  • Home Email
  • Occupation Email
  • Home and Occupation Email.

    Note: If you choose Home and Occupation Email, emails sent to the community member are by default sent to both the email address on the Phone tab and on the Occupation tab.

Web Site

Individual's personal or company's web site.
Specify the URL (Universal Resource Locater) for the web site. For example, the following URL is for the personal web site of a staff member at the University of Hawaii: www2.hawaii.edu/~gorman/.
Synergetic does not need the *

http://*

prefix to be specified but it can be included.

Search Filter

The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Community Selector. This field can be used to filter community members by any of the information displayed in the Community Selector.
