Future Student Maintenance - Action Centre tab

Use the Action Centre tab to view Action Centre messages linked to the selected future student.
Note: You can populate this tab by either linking or allocating Action Centre messages to the selected future student. See Using the Action Centre window in the Introduction manual.
Tip: Click the Action Centre icon to quickly navigate to the Action Centre tab to view items linked to the currently selected future student.
Opening the Action Centre tab
To open the Action Centre tab:

Select Module > Future Students > Future Student Maintenance from the main menu.

The Set Future Student Search Criteria window is displayed.
Tip: You can also access the future student functions by clicking .

Search for the future student. See Searching for future students (on page ).
Click the Action Centre tab.

The Action Centre tab of Future Student Maintenance is displayed.

Future Student Maintenance - Action Centre tab key fields and buttons
Fields

Field	Description
Summary	Summary of the Action Centre message.
Linked to Student	Future student linked to the Action Centre message.
Allocated To	Community member allocated to the Action Centre message. Note: Clicking automatically allocates the community ID linked to the current Synergetic user. Click to assign to another community member.

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Description	Description of the Action Centre notification.
Summary	Summary of the Action Centre notification.
Created	Creation date of the Action Centre notification.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Launch Community Maintenance window for the displayed record.
	Remove the link between the future student and the selected task. Note: You can link the task to another maintenance record by using the Linked To fields and buttons in the Action Centre. See Using the Action Centre window in the Introduction manual.
	Reallocate the task to a different community member.
	Start the selected task.
	Mark the selected task as complete.
	Launch the Save Task as Template window to save the current task as a template to be used for future tasks. See Managing tasks in the Introduction manual.

Description sub-tab fields

Enter a description of the Action Centre task in the comment field.
Detail sub-tab fields

Field	Description
Created	Date the task was created.
Self Actioned/Read	Whether the task has been self-actioned or read.
Actioned	Whether the task has been actioned.
Actioned By	Community member that actioned the task.
School	Name of the originating organisation.
User	Synergetic user that created the task.
System	Synergetic program used to create the task.
Created	Date the task was created.
Subscriber	List of users that are subscribed or allocated to this task.

Advanced sub-tab fields

Field	Description
Start Date	Start date for the task.
Due Date	Due date for the task.
Completed Date	Date the task was completed.
Task Status	Status of the task.
Time Spent In	Unit of time to be used for the task.
Estimated Duration	Estimated time required to complete the task. Note: Use the Time Spent In field to determine the unit of time.
Reminder Date	Select a date for the Action Centre to display a reminder relating to the currently selected task.
Reminder	Select a date for the Action Centre to display a reminder relating to the currently selected task.
% Complete	Percentage of the task completed.
Current Estimate	Estimated time required to complete the task.
Elapsed	Units of time elapsed.
Seq	Unique identifier for the task.

Dependencies sub-tab fields
The Dependencies sub-tab displays tasks that must be completed before the task selected in the main grid area can be started.

Description	Description of the task.
Summary	Summary of the task.
Status	Status of the task.
Created	Creation date of the task.
Allocated To	Community member allocated to complete the task. Note: Clicking automatically allocates the community ID linked to the current Synergetic user. Click to assign to another community member.

Related tasks sub-tab fields
The Related tasks sub-tab displays tasks related to the task selected in the main grid area.

Workflow sub-tab fields
The Workflow sub-tab displays for full workflow for the task selected in the main grid area.

Select fields in this area this area to display extra information on the workflow. You can display:

statuses
allocations
linked records
estimated durations
% complete figures.
