Configuring HROnboard Action Centre messages

You can configure HROnboard Action Centre messages to allow Synergetic to import data from HROnboard via the Action Centre. This involves:

  • Enabling HROnboard Action Centre messages using Settings Maintenance
  • Allocating HROnboard Action Centre message subscriptions using Group/User Security Maintenance.

There are two Action Centre messages to support both non-financial and financial imports:

  • SYSINT_SIF_StaffDetails_T allows non-financial data to be imported into Community Maintenance and Staff Maintenance
  • SYSINT_SIF_StaffPayrollDetails_T allows financial data to be imported into Payroll Maintenance.

Enabling HROnboard Action Centre messages

To enable HROnboard Action Centre messages:

  1. Select Module > System > Settings Maintenance (Action Centre Message Types).
    The Settings Maintenance window is displayed.


    Tip: You can also access the System Maintenance functions by clicking .

  2. Expand System Interfaces > System Interfaces using SIF.


  3. Select either:

    • Staff details received from External System via SIF
    • Staff payroll details received from External System via SIF.

    The Settings tab of the Settings Maintenance window is displayed.

  4. Select the Active flag for the selected Action Centre message, if not already selected.
  5. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the second Action Centre message, if required.
    Enabling HROnboard Action Centre messages is complete.

Allocating HROnboard Action Centre message subscriptions

To allocate HROnboard Action Centre message subscriptions:

  1. Select Module > System > Group/User Security Maintenance.
    The Groups view of the Group/User Security Maintenance window is displayed.
  2. Select Action Centre Types from the Resource drop-down list.

    The Action Centre message types are displayed.
  3. Type SIF into the Search bar.
    The SIF Action Centre messages are displayed.
  4. Select the security group you would like to allocate permissions to in the Groups grid area.

    Tip: You can allocate the SYSINT_SIF_StaffDetails_T Action Centre message to non-finance groups and SYSINT_SIF_StaffPayrollDetails_T to finance groups.

  5. Right-click either:

    • SYSINT_SIF_StaffDetails_T
    • SYSINT_SIF_StaffPayrollDetails_T.

  6. Select Subscribe from the right-click menu.

    The selected group is subscribed to the Action Centre message.
  7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 to subscribe additional groups to either Action Centre message.
    Allocating HROnboard Action Centre message subscriptions is complete.
