Description
The OverrideSenderText setting is used to update the text automatically inserted into an email message sent from a grid. The text is automatically inserted at the beginning of the email when a user sends grid records on behalf of another person.
A user can only send emails to grid records on behalf of another person if the SYS security setting GridEmailChangeSender has been set for them. See Maintaining security permissions (on page ).
Note: This message is only shown when emailing on behalf of another person from a grid. No text is inserted if you are emailing from another part of Synergetic.
Default value
The default value is Email sent by ?. The ? is replaced by the person's name that is sending the email (on behalf of the other person).
Setting a different value
Update the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files (on page ).
