Description
Use the LinkInstalmentsAndPlansFlag configuration setting to determine whether instalments and payment plans are linked. When they are:
- linked the charging frequency of payment plan instalments (maintained using the Instalments tab) is updated when debtors update their payment frequency (maintained using the Automatic Payments sub-tab) using the Payment Plans tab of the Community Portal.
- unlinked the charging frequency of payment plan instalments (maintained using the Instalments tab) is not updated when debtors update their payment frequency (maintained using the Automatic Payments sub-tab) using the Payment Plans tab of the Community Portal.

Default value
The default value is False. Instalments and payment plans are unlinked.
Setting a different value
Select the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window to link instalments and payment plans. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
