Description
Use the LinkInstalmentsAndPlansFlag configuration setting to determine whether instalments and payment plans are linked. When they are:
- linked users can only update payment plan details prior to the first instalment charge, after which time they are locked and cannot be updated
- unlinked users can update payment plan details at any time.

Default value
The default value is True. Instalments and payment plans are linked.
Setting a different value
Clear the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window to unlink instalments and payment plans to allow users to update their payment plan details at any time. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
