Re-importing assessments to the main Synergetic database

To import assessments from a storage device or notebook to the main Synergetic database:

  1. Either:
    • login to your PC at your organisation and start Synergetic
    • connect your notebook to your organisation's network, login to the notebook and start Synergetic.
  2. Select Module > Assessments > Import Assessments from Your Computer.
    The Import Assessments from Your Computer window is displayed.
    Tip: You can also access the Import Assessments from Your Computer window by clicking .
  3. If you are copying from a storage device:
    • connect the storage device, such as a USB flash drive, to the computer at your organisation

    • click to locate the file on the storage device.

    Note: If you are importing from your notebook computer then you do not need to specify the path. Synergetic automatically locates the file for you.
  4. Click .
    The Importing from Stand-alone PC window is displayed.

    Note: Synergetic checks to ensure that data is not being overwritten.
  5. Click .
    The following message is displayed.
  6. Click .
    The assessments for all of the classes listed are copied back to the main Synergetic database. The assessments you have imported are now unlocked so that anyone can edit them.
    The following dialog window is displayed.
  7. Either:
    • click to import another class
    • click to finish.
    The assessments are available to work with on the PC or notebook connected to your organisation's network.
