Description
The luAbsencePeriod lookup table is used to configure the:
- way the Period and Time fields operate on the Create Absence Event window, when entering an absence slip
- Part of Day value for all modes, except when entering an absence slip.
You can:
- change the descriptions of the periods as they appear on the Create Absence Event window
- set up or alter additional codes for backwards compatibility of reporting if your organisation has reports based on morning, afternoon and all day absence events
- change the order that the periods and additional codes are displayed in
- set an override time for the period, if the start time of the period is not available from a timetable at your organisation
- inactivate certain periods or additional codes from use at your organisation.

OverrideTime | Override the time set on the Create Absence Event window, when entering an absence slip and selecting the Period from the drop-down down list. This saves you having to type the Time directly, if the start time of the period does not come from the student's timetable. |
PeriodNumber | Corresponding period number for the code entered. |
ActiveFlag | Period or additional codes are active when this field is selected. |
ModifiedDate | Date and time the lookup table entry was last modified. |
ModifiedUser | User that last modified the lookup table entry. |
