You can configure Synergetic to send emails or SMS messages to community members in response to events such as:

  • student absences
  • incomplete attendance records.

Two-way SMS messaging is supported through SynWeb. You can use:

  • SMS Replies tab to process SMS replies. See Notifications Maintenance - SMS Replies tab in the SynWeb Introduction manual.
  • SMS Processed tab to display previously processed SMS replies. See Notifications Maintenance - SMS Processed tab in the SynWeb Introduction manual.

Note: You must have the SYS:NotificationsMaint security permissions to maintain notifications. See Maintaining security permissions in the System maintenance manual.

Maintain:

  • rules from which notifications are generated
  • the schedule for each notification rule.

View notifications before they are sent to recipients and:

  • edit the notification
  • send the notification to the recipient
  • delete the notification.

View and delete notifications that have been sent to recipients.
