Some staff members are required at parent teacher interviews but do not teach classes in the year levels of the interview sessions. For example, school librarians, counsellors, chaplains, principals or department heads may be required to discuss a student's progress at parent teacher interviews. The PTI Extras tab allows you to add staff members into parent teacher interviews for year levels that the staff member does not teach classes to.
For example, Tim Dawson is the Head of Maths for the senior school, and is required to attend parent teacher interviews for all senior year levels. As he does not teach year 7 or 8 students, he is not automatically included in the Year 7 and 8 parent teacher interviews. The year 7 and 8 interview levels are added on his PTI Extras tab so parents can book timeslots with him.
