The P.D. tab displays courses and other learning activities undertaken by the staff member for their professional development.
Opening the P.D. tab
To open the P.D. tab:
- Select Module > Human Resources > Staff Maintenance from the main menu.
Tip: You can also access the staff functions by clicking .
- Search for the staff member. See Searching for staff members.
The Personal tab of the Staff Maintenance window is displayed. - Click the P.D. tab.

Staff Maintenance - P.D. tab key fields and buttons
Fields
Field | Description |
---|
Course | Course name. |
Provider | Organisation that ran the course. |
Start Date Finish Date | Course start and end dates. |
Seq | Sequence number for the course. |
Learning Area | Learning area covered by the course. |
Application Date | Date staff member applied for course. |
Course Status | Status of the personal development course. For example, the staff member may: - have applied to attend the course
- have confirmed their attendance
- be currently completing the course
- have completed the course
- have cancelled the course.
The course status list is maintained in the luStaffTrainingStatus lookup table in Lookup Table Maintenance. See luStaffTrainingStatus lookup table in the System maintenance manual.

Buttons
Button | Description |

| Add details of courses attended by the staff member as part of their professional development. See Adding new professional development details. |
| Modify the details of the highlighted course. Note: You can also double click on an entry to modify its details. |
| Delete the details of the highlighted course. |
