Use the Main Notification Method sub-tab of the Current Recipients tab to maintain notification methods for the highlighted recipient.
In the following example the Welcome Letter communication is sent via both postal service and email.

Note: You can populate this tab by defining notification methods on the Notify Methods tab of Community Maintenance. See Community Maintenance - Notify Methods tab in the Community manual.
Tip: You can also add notification methods by right-clicking in the grid area.

Opening the Main Notification Method sub-tab
To open the Main Notification Method sub-tab:

  1. Select Module > Development > Communications Maintenance from the main menu.

The Set Communications Search Criteria window is displayed.

  1. Select the past communication. See Searching for communications (on page ).
  2. Click the Current Recipients tab.

The Current Recipients tab of the Communications Maintenance window is displayed.

  1. Select the recipient to maintain in the grid area.
  2. Click the Main Notification Method sub-tab.

The Main Notification Method sub-tab of the Communications Maintenance window is displayed.

Field

Description

Communication Type

Select the communication type from the drop-down list.
Note: You can define communication types using the Communication Types Maintenance window. See Maintaining communication types (on page ).

Notify Method

Select the method of notification from the drop-down list.

Comment

A comment about the communication method for this recipient.
Tip: Double-click this field to open the comment window.
