Booking list hot reports are available in both SynWeb and Synergetic.
 

Configuring a class hot report
To configure a class hot report:

  1. Select Module > System > User Report Form Editor from the Synergetic main menu.
    The Synergetic User Report Form Editor window is displayed. See Using the User_Report Form Editor in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
  2. Create the report you want to display using the Synergetic User Report Form Editor. See Report Form Designer in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
  3. Ensure that the Web Enabled field is selected for the report.
  4. Click .
  5. Select Module > System> Configuration File Maintenance from the Synergetic main menu.
    The Synergetic Configuration File Maintenance window is displayed. See CConfiguration File Maintenance windowin the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
  6. Find the Synweb:HotReports:ClassMaint configuration settings.


    Tip:
    Type Synweb|HotReports|Class into the search field to find the settings quickly.
     
  7. Select the appropriate configuration setting to create a hot report for:
    • Class Maintenance, see HotReports:ClassMaint configuration setting
    • Students bar of Class Maintenance, see HotReports:ClassMaintStudent configuration setting.
  8. Click to create the hot report.
  9. Change the report number in the Key 4 field to determine the order of the report in the hot reports drop-down list.
  10. Type the report code into the ReportName variable in the Value field.


    Note:
    You need to modify the RecordSelectionFormula to match the view or other SQL object referenced by the selected report.
     
  11. Click .
    The hot report is ready to use.

 

Configuring the Crystal Report

Unlike the Attendance Hot Reports, the Class Hot Report needs to be based on a view or table and cannot be based on a stored procedure.

The parameters must be specified in the RecordSelectionFormula, therefore it may not be possible to pass through stored procedure parameters.
