Use the Photo tab to:

  • view the most recent photo of the student
  • review the details of when the photo was updated
  • flag what permissions have been received to utilise the photo in your organisation's external communications.

 Opening the Photo tab

To open the Photo tab:

  1. Select Module > Students > Current Student Maintenance from the main menu.
    The Set Current Student Search Criteria window is displayed.
    Tip: You can also access the current student functions by clicking .
  2. Search for the student. See Searching for existing students in the Current students manual.
  3. Click the Photo tab.
    The Photo tab of the Current Student Maintenance window is displayed.

Fields

Field

Description

Modified By

User ID of the person who last modified the photo.

Modified Date

Date the photo was last modified.

Note: If you define document classifications in the luDocumentClassification lookup table, changes to photos are recorded as a history record on the DocMan tab. See luDocumentClassification lookup table in the System maintenance manual.

Source

Source of the photo.

Photo Type

Type of photo file. For example, JPG or GIF file extensions.

Web

Select if the student's parent or guardian has given permission for the photo to be displayed on your organisation's public web site.

Promotional Material

Select if the student's parent or guardian has given permission for the photo to be included in promotional material such as promotional displays in public areas.

School Publications

Select if the student's parent or guardian has given permission for the photo to be included in your organisation's publications sent to a wide group of recipients.

Description

Copy the photograph to the Microsoft Windows clipboard. From within the Windows operating system, paste the photo into a document, as required.
