Use the LinkInstalmentsAndPlansFlag configuration setting to determine whether instalments and payment plans are linked. When they are:

are linked. When this flag is set to:
- True the Instalments tab and Automatic Payments sub-tab ) using the Payment Plans tab of the Community Portal.
Note: For more information about the fields updated when users update payment plan details on the Community Portal, see:
- Debtor Maintenance - Payment Type tab - are linked and updating the information on one tab automatically updates the other
- False the Instalments tab and Automatic Payments sub-tab Debtor Maintenance - Instalments tabcan be updated independently.
Default value
The default value is False True. Instalments Instalment charges and payment plans plan payments are unlinkedlinked.
Setting a different value
Select the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window to link instalments unlink instalment charges and payment plansplan payments. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
