You organisation's Approver can test the connection to the NZ MOE web service before approving and sending the roll return. See Approving and sending roll returns.

Note: You must have the STU|StudentImportExport|MOE|ApproveRollReturn security permission to complete these steps. See Group/User Security Maintenance - Groups View in the System maintenance manual.

To connect to the NZ MOE web service from eReturns:

  1. Open the MOE tab of the Import/Export Student Data window. See Import/Export Student Data - MOE tab (on page ).
    The MOE tab of the Import/Export Student Data window is displayed.

  2. Click Image Removed Image Added.
  3. Click  Image Added.
    The following dialog is displayed if the connection is successful.

  4. If not successful, check the configuration. See:

Once the connection is successfully established your organisation's Approver can finalise the roll return process by approving and sending the MOE file to the NZ MOE as an eReturn. See Approving and sending roll returns.
